The distance between Monteray and Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) is just over 11 kilometers or approximately a 15 to 20 minute Drive.

To get into town from Monteray, it is an approximate 20 minute drive.  Some of our guests decide to walk. That may take approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. 

The nearest bus stop is 5-10 minutes walking, depending on your pace.

Check in is at 3pm. Earlier access to your room is can be arranged once available.

Check out is at 12 pm. However, luggage can be looked after at no extra charge.

Yes, depending on the availability, there is a late checkout option. However, there may an additional fee if checkout needs to extend beyond 3pm.

No, we don’t. However, there are taxis waiting outside of the airport’s arrival hall and nearby to Monteray.  All eager to bring guests to their desired destination.

No, we do not have an elevator. However, if a ground floor apartment is preferred, then please make an indication when booking your room. Should you require assistance with your luggage, we have staff available who can lift your luggage to the higher floors.

Barbados uses the Barbadian dollar, which you can easily acquire throughout the island or at Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). United States Currency is also accepted everywhere and $1 US Dollar is worth $2 Barbadian dollars.

We are approximately a three minute walk to the Dover Beach and 3 other beautiful beaches are within a ten minute walk.

There is certainly no need to rent a car as taxis abound and the bus system, which can take you to every corner of the island, is outstanding. That notwithstanding, a car may afford you the added freedom to travel about on your own schedule.
